Projects labeled as "Donation Type" treat support funds as donations to the university or research institution the researcher belongs to. In this case, tax benefits are available. Please check each project page for specific tax benefits or donation receipt issuance dates.
Projects without the "Donation Type" label are considered "Purchase Type," and a 10% consumption tax is applied to the support amount. Receipts issued by us can be downloaded from the academist supporter my page after the project period ends.
Currently, academist Crowdfunding accepts credit card payments (Visa / Mastercard), bank transfers, convenience store payments, Paypal payments, and Payeasy payments. For credit card payments, charges are made after the project period ends. For other payment methods, payment is required by the payment deadline after applying for support.
If the target amount is reached, we receive 17% of the total support amount as an achievement reward. Additionally, a payment processing fee of 3% is included in the support amount.
Example) If we receive support of 10,000 yen, the challenger will receive 8,000 yen.

Yes, you can. Please register with the corporate name during user registration, or if registered as an individual, you can change the recipient of receipts and returns to the corporate name.

Support cancellation is not possible on academist. Please thoroughly review the project details before supporting.
Yes. For credit card payments, the reservation will be canceled. For other payment methods, we will send a refund method notification email.
Challengers are informed of supporter's academist username and support amount. Additionally, email addresses and contact details are shared if necessary for return implementation. You can also choose not to receive the return.
It varies by project, so please check the return details on each project page. If there is a delay beyond the scheduled date, you will receive communication from the challenger to the supporter. If you haven't received any communication, please contact us via the inquiry form.

Researchers regularly share their research activities and recruit continuous fans. Supporters can choose to join by selecting a support course of the fan club they want to cheer for and can view supporter-exclusive activity reports. It operates on a monthly subscription basis with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

Currently, academist Fanclub accepts credit card payments (Visa / Mastercard). Payments are automatically deducted from the registered credit card at the end of each month.
We charge a service usage fee of 7% of the total support amount. Additionally, a payment processing fee of 3% is included in the support amount.
