However, the following criteria do not fall under the provision of personal information to third parties as stipulated above.
When the Company receives a request from a customer to disclose personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company will disclose the information to the customer without delay after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself. If the relevant personal information does not exist, the Company will notify the customer to that effect. If the relevant personal information does not exist, the Company will notify the customer to that effect. However, this does not apply to cases where the Company is not obligated to disclose such information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
If the Company is requested by a customer to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correct") the content of the personal information on the grounds that it is untrue, the Company will, upon confirming that the request is made by the customer, conduct the necessary investigation without delay to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. Based on the results of the investigation, the Company will correct the content of personal information and notify the customer to that effect. If the Company decides not to correct the content of personal information, the customer will be notified to that effect. However, this does not apply in cases where the Company is not obligated to correct under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
In the event that the Company is requested by a customer to suspend the use or erase (hereinafter referred to as "suspend the use") of the customer's personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on the grounds that the customer's personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use announced in advance or that the information was acquired through deception or other wrongful means, the Company will suspend the use of personal information without delay after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself, and notify the customer to that effect. However, this does not apply to cases where the Company is not obligated to suspend the use of personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
