打ち上げから1年の ARICA とARICA-2 の進捗

ARICAの進捗報告ができておらず、大変申し訳ございません。ARICAは打ち上げから1年以上が経過いたしました。打ち上げ日である先月は研究室のメンバーと ARICA の1歳の誕生日をお祝いしました。

しかし、残念ながら、ARICA からのデータ受信、そして、ARICA へのデータ送信ともに成功できていない状況に変わりはありません。もうしばらく、必要最小限の通信の試みを続けていきます。
そして、今年度から開発がスタートした ARICA再挑戦ミッションとして位置づけています ARICA-2 ですが、先日、JAXA の輸送/超小型衛星ミッション拡充プログラム (以後 拡充プログラム) のフィージビリティ・スタディフェーズに選定されました!

拡充プログラムは1年間のフィージビリティスタディを行った後、JAXAによる審査を受け、審査を通過できると衛星開発フェーズに移行します。2年間の衛星開発フェーズを経てJAXAが打ち上げ輸送サービスを選定するというプログラムです。この選定により、ARICA-2 の打ち上げへの道筋が少し見えてきました。現在は、一年後のフェーズ移行審査を突破できるよう、学生と一緒に全力で ARICA-2 の開発を進めています。
