Understanding the World as Perceived by AI: Toward a Future Where Humans and AI Coexist!

共著サーベイが人工知能学会40周年記念論文賞 最優秀論文賞を受賞しました！
こんにちは、高槻瞭大です。
改めまして、「AIが見る世界を理解して、人間とAIが共に生きる未来を実現したい！」にご関心を寄せていただき、ありがとうございます。
私たちの研究プロジェクトでは、AIシステムが世界をどのように捉え、時間の流れをどのように処理しているのかを理解するために、認知科学の行動実験をAIシステムに応用し、その内部の仕組みを解釈性手法によって解析する研究を進めています。
こうした研究の基盤となるのが、AIシステムの内部メカニズムを理解するための研究分野である「機械論的解釈可能性（mechanistic interpretability; MI）」です。近年、MIはAI安全性の文脈を中心に急速に発展しており、AIがどのような情報処理を行っているのかを具体的に調べるための重要な手がかりを与えています。
この度、その近年の進展を日本語で網羅的に整理した私の共著サーベイ論文が、国内の人工知能分野を代表する学会である人工知能学会の「40周年記念論文賞 最優秀論文賞」を受賞しました。論文は、人工知能学会論文誌2026年7月号に掲載予定です。
この受賞を励みに、引き続き「AIが見る世界」についての理解を深め、人間とAIがよりよく共に生きる未来に向けて研究を進めていきます。
