Understanding the World as Perceived by AI: Toward a Future Where Humans and AI Coexist!

CPC Spring Camp 2026 に参加させていただいています！
こんにちは、西本翔裕です。
「AIが見る世界を理解して、人間とAIが共に生きる未来を実現したい！」にご関心を寄せていただき、誠にありがとうございます。
3月21日から26日にかけて、CPC Spring Camp 2026 が開催されています。CPCとは、Collective Predictive Coding (集合的予測符号化) の略で、AI時間構造学プロジェクトに推薦コメントも寄せてくださっている、京都大学・谷口忠大教授が提唱している仮説の名称です。
CPCの主張は、簡単には、私たち (人間やAI) はそれぞれがバラバラに世界を理解しているのではなく、互いにやり取りしながら「予測」と「ズレ (誤差)」をすり合わせることで、意味やルール、さらには社会そのものを少しずつ共同で作り上げている、というものです。つまり、あらかじめ決められた正しい意味や規範が上から与えられるのではなく、対話や行動の中で「こういう意味で通じる」「こういうやり方がうまくいく」といった予測が共有されていき、その積み重ねとして言語や文化、社会の秩序や科学までが形づくられていく、という斬新な見方を提案しています。
西本は、昨年に引き続き招待していただき、CPC Campに参加するのは2年連続2回目です。3日間の開催だった昨年度に比べて、今年は6日間という長期開催であるため、より多様なバックグラウンドを持った多くのメンバーと様々な議論をすることができています。
これまでの、Qstr-IIT Summer School や、HUMAI Spring Camp 2026 同様、可能な範囲で研究会の様子を発信していけたらと考えています。まずは、琵琶湖のほとりで撮影した意識の議論の動画を公開します！
