【量子 x 音楽】なぜ、この組み合わせ？ 誕生秘話（１）
こんにちは、量子フェスプログラム委員会委員長の橋本幸士です。多くの皆さまのご支援、ありがとうございます！すでに100名以上の方のご支援をいただき、大変ありがたく感じております。そこで。。。この度の活動報告では、「量子 x 音楽」の誕生秘話の一部をお届けします。

量子フェスで音楽、と聞いて、なぜ音楽？と思われた方も多いかもしれません。
実は、本量子フェスの姉妹版として、量子力学が生まれた地・ドイツで開催されるドイツ量子フェス（2025年11月15日にドイツ・ミュンスターで開催）でも、このたびのN'SO Kyotoによる「量子楽曲」が上演されることが決まっています。ドイツ・量子フェスのウェブページ → https://quantum100.de/
フランス人作曲家のヤニック・パジェさんと私の共同研究がスタートしたのは、2018年の身体パフォーマンス舞台作品「Every day is a new begining」（前田英一 作・演出・出演）において、私が舞台に登り、そしてパジェさんが音楽を担当したいた頃まで、遡ります。

私たちはその頃、身体を通じて、物理学と芸術がつながることを実験していました。その作品が作られる過程を通じて、物理学の基礎的な構成物体である「量子（素粒子）」と、音楽の基礎的な構成部分である「和音」の間に、類似性があることに気づいたのです。この類似性を突き詰めていくと、この宇宙の基礎的な原理と音楽の作曲の原理の類似性、そしてその先には、宇宙の真理を音楽という心を揺さぶるもので表現できてしまうのではないか --- 私たちの冒険は、そこから始まったのです！（続く）
